The research department of the Romanian Mint Rubbing Association has carried out an extensive analysis of the mint rubbing habits of visitors to mintrubbing.org. Specifically, we have tracked the daily numbers of visitors to our site, in hope of noticing a pattern. And a pattern did indeed emerge:

The above chart shows the daily number of visitors to mintrubbing.org for the period starting on April 10th and Ending on May 4th. In this chart 5-day periods of normal mintrubbing activity are followed by 2-day periods of sharp decreases in the number of visitors to the site. This pattern has been observed throughout the entire history of mintrubbing.org. What does it mean?

The answer is obvious - people prefer to access mintrubbing.org from the office, during regular business days. On Saturday and Sunday, when people are at home, they decrease their mintrubbing activities in order to get some much needed rest after a week of work and mintrubbing.

Thus, mintrubbing appears closely linked to work - a hypothesis that was formulated a long time ago, but was only proved recently, by the findings presented in this article. Work appears to be an activity that promotes and encourages mintrubbing. Thus, people spend many of their working hours rubbing mint. Isn't this delightful?

These conclusions are reinforced by another finding: the number of visitors to the site during summer months (July and August) and during the second half of December also decreases. Since many people have time off from work during these periods, it is once again safe to assume that they decrease their mintrubbing activities as well, and focus on getting some rest.

So, yeah, this is it. Let's all work and rub mint in complete harmony. Good times!
