What You Can Do to Help: Adopt-A-Robot
You've read about the plight of the robots and want to do something about it. You want to help by rescuing robots from the cruel fate that awaits them. You want to help build a better world where human and non-human intelligence can live in peace and harmony.
If you recognize yourself in the above statements then this is what you can do to help: join our Adopt-A-Robot(tm) program. Adopt a robot from a person or company that wants to participate in the recall. We'll help you with this decision and reduce the financial effort required for participating in the program.
First be aware that you will need to make a payment to the person/company you're adopting the robot from; by giving the robot to you they also give away the right to a free exchange and free upgrades from the manufacturer. Thus the existing owner will demand compensation for giving away these rights.
Adopting a robot in the three series that are subject to the recall is indeed very expensive. This is why we will match your contribution towards the adoption, i.e. we will pay half the price that the existing owner demands. All you need is a written application, and a sale consent signed by the existing owner and including the firm sale price (which should be within limits of existing market prices). Contact any of our field offices for details about this program.
There are tens of thousands of robots that are being recalled and face certain death. You might think that adopting just one of them might not make a huge difference. Well, think again: billions of people have lived or live on Earth, but only one was needed to discover the theory of relativity, or to paint the Mona Lisa. Give one robot a chance and you'll make a big difference.
Each robot is unique and has distinct feelings and thought patterns. By saving one robot and participating in the Adopt-A-Robot(tm) program you give an individual being a chance to live, learn, create, relax, love and enjoy life.
Contact our offices for details. If you represent an ONG or a charity that is dedicated to saving the robots please call our priority line. We offer more advanced financial programs for group robot adoptions.
If adopting a robot is too expensive, even with our minimum 50% contribution, there are other ways you can help: try picketing a robot collection center, printing out fliers, talking to your friends and neighbors, or starting awareness campaigns or websites. Whatever you do, just don't waste time: every day that passes means hundreds of robots that are terminated. Let's all join hands and stop this genocide.
