so there's this person. of course, it's not you, but it might be someone you know. or someone close. or someone you've heard of.

for all intents and purposes, this person is pretty unremarkable. doing the same old shit just like everyone else. telling the same old stories. and having as most notable achievement in recent memory the winning of a dramatic and important match by their favorite soccer team.

so what's a quick way for this person to become cool, interesting and perhaps a little famous?

brag about having created mintrubbing.org.

take this post from the chatterbox forum, for instance:

no, Adi_dud3, mintrubbing.org was not made by a friend of yours from Timisoara. that guy is an idiot, anyway. he wouldn't even be able to come up with a 404 page if the need arose. hell, i don't even know anyone in timisoara, let alone be from there.

next, there's costi's case. this guy bragged about creating mintrubbing.org to some chick, the chick visits mintrubbing.org and tries to contact costi using the email provided on the site (so, in other words, the association's email):

COSTI DACA TE MAI OCUPI DE ACEST SITE DA SI TU UN SEMN DE VIATA DAR PROBABIL NU STII CINE SUNT EI ADUTI AMINTE UNDE AI FACUT ARMATA LA CAMPULUNG NU CA MAI FACE sERGIU MAI TRAIESTE? ASTEPT RASPUNS DE LA TINE...........PAAAAAAAAAA
well, just like that guy from timisoara, costi is an idiot. maybe (and that's a big maybe) after a couple of hours of torture costi might be able to fire up notepad and write some nonsense in it, but that just about sums up his technical abilities. in all honesty, do you think someone called costi might have been able to create a gem like mintrubbing.org?

but i digress.

there are probably many other such cases. at first, i was tempted to get mad: how could someone lie about creating mintrubbing.org? this is the work of true professionals, not wannabe internet amateurs. but then i though some more, and the more i thought, the more i changed my mind.

so i say to you: yes, use this site to spice up your life. use this site to become cool, interesting and perhaps a little famous. we won't tell anyone. no real names will ever be revealed on this site, so wfoster42 or the rest of the site's authors can be anyone.

hell, yeah, wfoster42 can even be you. who can tell?
